  1. Radon is a colourless, odorless, gaseous, 
  2. radioactive, nonmetallic element, with a 
  3. symbol Rn, an atomic number of 86, and an 
  4. atomic weight of 222. It is grouped with the 
  5. inert gases and was formerly considered 
  6. non-reactive, but is now known to form some 
  7. compounds with fluorine. Radon is the 
  8. densest gas known and occurs in small amounts 
  9. in spring water, streams, and the air, being 
  10. formed from the natural radioactive decay of 
  11. radium.
